Jordan

For Expo 2005 in Aichi, Japan Jordan issued this set of
four stamps depicting salt crystals from the Dead Sea.

The three lower values depict various Dead Sea salt
crystals while the high value depicts the Dead Sea.

In 2020 Jordan produced 50 000 metric tonnes of salt. This constitutes less than one percent of world production.
